9:43 AM Facebook (FB -1.8%) discloses VC firm Andreesen Horowitz distributed 4.64M shares to partners as part of yesterday's lockup expiration, most of which stem from its very successful investment in Instagram. AH is still holding onto 3.87M shares. Facebook is slipping in early trading following yesterday's big short covering-fueled rally. Markit recently estimated 28% of Facebook shares available for shorting are being used for that purpose - while still high, that number is down from 80%+ in early August. (Read the comments on this)
