AMZN: Amazon (AMZN) announces Cyber Monday was the...

9:11 AM Amazon (AMZN) announces Cyber Monday was the biggest day in its history for global sales of Kindle devices. With attractive pricing the stellar sales day wasn't wholly unexpected, but generating profits from consumers through Kindle usage is still the ultimate goal. The tablet stat to watch: Kindle purchases accounted for only 2.4% of purchases on Black Friday vs. 3.1% for Nook and a formidable 88.3% for iPads. (Read the comments on this)
