6:06 PM U.S. e-commerce sales rose 15% Y/Y in Q3, per comScore. Though down a bit from Q1's 17%, that growth rate is even with Q2's 15% and higher than for any quarter from 2008-2011. Electronics, digital content, tickets, apparel, and software outperformed. Bricks-and-mortar retailers for the quarter won't like the fact comScore's retail survey for the quarter found 37% of respondents claiming they engaged in showrooming, up from 32% in the prior 2 quarters.
