5:31 PM Jefferies' talks with cable industry contacts indicate at least one major North American cable provider is trying to "estimate how much additional capacity may be needed" to handle an Apple (AAPL) device. This leads it to think an Apple TVcould be on the way, something it considers a positive for Arris (ARRS). One note of caution: the analyst in question, James Kisner, doesn't formally cover Apple. Peter Misek, the Jefferies analyst who does, has been speculating for a while about an Apple set. (Read the comments on this)
