1:39 PM The next item introduced by Apple (AAPL -0.6%): A refreshed iMac that's a mere 0.5mm thick thanks to Apple's use of cutting-edge lamination and welding tech, and willingness to ditch the optical drive. Also included is an improved display, Nvidia (NVDA) graphics, and a hybrid hard drive (uses both flash and disks). The 21.5' version costs $1,299, and the 27" version $1,799.
