1:48 PM 46 of the top 50 mobile apps will be supported by Windows Phone 8, claims Microsoft (MSFT) at its launch event. Among those apps are updated versions of Facebook, Twitter, and Skype, and (in 2013) a Pandora (P) app that will deliver a year of ad-free music. Windows Phone now supports 120K apps, though that figure still puts it well behind iOS and Android, which remains the top priorities for most third-party developers.
