1:30 PM Apple (AAPL -0.4%) starts its event by introducing a 13" retina MacBook Pro. The notebook, which starts at a costly $1,699, is 20% thinner and 1 lb. lighter than its predecessor, and features a solid-state drive to go with its high-res display, which Apple claims offers 75% less glare.
