AMZN,AAPL: Amazon (AMZN) isn't taking the iPad Mini's...

9:09 AM Amazon (AMZN) isn't taking the iPad Mini's (AAPL) arrival (and Tim Cook's earnings call criticism of 7" tablets) lying down: the company has placed a giant ad on its home page favorably comparing the $199 Kindle Fire HD with the $329 Mini. Absent from the ad is any mention of the Fire's ads or lukewarm reviews. Meanwhile, shipping times for all Wi-Fi Mini models have risen to two weeks, and Google (GOOG) is returning fire by giving the Nexus 7 a storage boost. (Read the comments on this)
