MSFT: Microsoft (MSFT) is building a cheap Xbox...

2:46 PM Microsoft (MSFT) is building a cheap Xbox set-top box to go with its next-gen console and (rumored) Xbox tablet, multiple sources tell The Verge. Eurogamer provided a very similar rumor a year ago. The set-top will reportedly support casual games and would be a natural fit for Xbox Live, which has morphed into a very popular home entertainment platform. Microsoft is also said to be exploring bringing Xbox Live functionality to phones and TV sets. (Read the comments on this)
