12:21 AM If The Verge's sources are accurate, Steven Sinofsky's departure from Microsoft (MSFT) was due to his "abrasive" personality and habit of "putting up roadblocks for products" that would threaten his power. Scott Forstall might be able to sympathize. A recent CNET profile of Sinofsky relayed criticism of his management style, and also noted he was "increasingly disregarding" Steve Ballmer's efforts "to get the Windows group to work in concert with other divisions." Sinofsky claims his departure was a "personal and private choice;" Microsoft says the decision was mutual. (Read the comments on this)
