4:54 PM Apple (AAPL +0.1%) roundup: 1) Disney CEO/Apple board member Bob Iger bought $1M worth of Apple shares on Monday. 2) Apple has responded to Samsung's request for a copy of its patent deal with HTC by offering a redacted version that doesn't include the royalty rate. Samsung, needless to say, isn't satisfied. 3) While U.S. PC sales dived in Q3, Mac sales to U.S. businesses rose 49% Y/Y, claims Needham. That allowed Macs to claim a 9.3% unit share and 17.4% revenue share of the market, well above prior quarters. (Read the comments on this)
