GOOG: Google (GOOG) is considering whether to settle...

3:14 AM Google (GOOG) is considering whether to settle with the FTC over allegations that the company improperly refused to grant licenses for standards-essential mobile-phone patents to its rivals and then tried to gain court injunctions to stop those competitors from selling their devices, the WSJ reports. The FTC reckons it has evidence that Google staff admitted the firm's conduct was wrong. (Read the comments on this)
