2:28 PM The Chinese government is giving its official blessing to Ubuntu: U.K.-based Canonical, a developer of the popular Linux variant, says it's working with China's IT ministry to develop Ubuntu Kylin, a China-specific version of the OS that will launch in April. Microsoft (MSFT), which has been working hard to grow its Chinese sales while trying to address local piracy, can't be pleased. Read comments
