YHOO: Yahoo (YHOO) is exiting the South Korean...

8:53 AM Yahoo (YHOO) is exiting the South Korean market after years of struggling to compete against local rivals such as NHN and Daum, and to a lesser extent Google. Yahoo Korea, which has 200-250 local employees, will shutter its portal in December. Yahoo's Korean failure contrasts greatly with the success of Yahoo Japan, in which the company maintains (for now) a 35% stake. (Read the comments on this)
