Needless to say, we're all in shellshock over the ferocity of and subsequent devastation from Hurricane Sandy. Our thoughts go out to everyone feeling the effects of the storm.

Like many others, our east coast operations were impacted for a few days, with some servers and communication offline. But our teams worked non-stop to get us back up and running. Others found themselves getting rather creative in their disaster recovery, when faced with flooded roads, failing elevators, etc.

Meanwhile, several cell network carriers will have some explaining to do as to why they didn't have enough battery backup power on hand after the disaster.

Again, we're sending the very best to you and yours. If you have any way to help out -- be it a donation to the Red Cross or simply letting a neighbor take a hot shower in your house -- try to do so this weekend!
