It is a routine Monday morning. I started driving to work at 845 am in the morning and realized that car's fuel tank is showing a big red "E"...time to fill the petrol again. I just remembered the old golden days when a full car tank used to cost me a little more than 1000 Rs...things are different now. Someone has moved my petrol now and can't even say who moved my petrol.
I pulled the car in the nearest filling station. Thinking that I will away from town for next one month and that I have to drive the car for next two days only I asked for a 1000 Rs fill... And look what I got was a mere little more than 13 liters of petrol.
I had very clear memories of filling the full tank in just 1200 Rs at 35 Rs/liter just a few year back...and rate of petrol has just doubled in 5-6 years. Have I started earning double of what I was earning 5 years back...a clear NO.
Inflation... Save me from this....I remember a famous song from a Bollywood movie here: sakhi sayyan toh khubai hi kammaaat hai..mahangani dayan...

Great Weekend
The weekend was great. Friday evening started with watching a champions league match in Chinnaswamy stadium in Bangalore. I got a company sponsored ticket for an executive class lounge in the stadium for the evening which made the evening quite eventful. I was least interested in this match between RCB and Warriors, however the match turned out to be a thriller with the result going till the last ball. Warriors won the match by scoring two runs in the last ball.
Saturday was a routine shopping day. The only difference was that this saturday, I was shopping for myself and my wife was following me...quite a change..huh...I picked up a few dresses for my upcoming US trip. I am off to SFO this Saturday and quite excited about that.
Sunday went in just lazing around at home and playing with the little kid...and now Monday is round the corner with shit load of work already piled up in the Inbox.
