AMZN,EBAY: Flash sales on e-commerce websites grew twice...

9:27 AM, Jan 10. Flash sales on e-commerce websites grew twice as fast as regular online sales, according to industry insiders. Market leader Gilt Group showed a 30% in its flash sales business this year while Rue La La saw a 50% hike. Though the overall sales in the sector still pare in comparison to online giants such as Amazon (AMZN) and eBay (EBAY), it's a trend worth watching. Read comments
