Amazon (AMZN) tries to better compete with iTunes and lift flagging music CD sales by launching AutoRip, a service that immediately gives CD buyers free MP3 copies of purchased tracks. Over 50K albums are initially available for AutoRip, which stores tracks Amazon's Cloud Player. Google is also stepping up its cloud music efforts. Read comments
