Does a small, relatively unknown yet highly respected Long Island technology research company really hold the keys the web conferencing market? If the communications are encrypted, the answer may be yes. That is what is claimed in a patent infringement lawsuit recently filed by Copytele, Inc. (COPY), against Microsoft's (MSFT) Skype and Linc web conferencing services. Web conferencing is of course the continually growing technology which enables millions of individuals and companies here and internationally, to conduct virtual meetings, enabling them to save money on travel, extend reach, unite geographically dispersed workers and a host of other benefits.
