10:28 AM Sources tell Digitimes that Amazon (AMZN +0.9%) will likely release a smartphone in China during 2013 with the same aggressive pricing tactics it has used in the tablet market. The best guess of industry watchers is Amazon will introduce a lower-cost model for emerging markets before introducing a feature-rich version for developed markets. (Read the comments on this)
