Amazon: New Reg Flags Mean Stay Away

Amazon (AMZN) recently announced financial results for its third quarter ended September 30, 2012.
Net sales grew by 27% to $13.81 billion in the third quarter, compared with $10.88 billion in the same quarter of the previous year. Excluding the $348 million unfavorable impact from year-over-year changes in foreign exchange rates over the quarter, net sales grew 30% compared with the third quarter of 2011. The operating loss was $28 million compared with operating income of $79 million in third quarter 2011. read more »
