Leaked images suggest the sidebar will be replaced by boxes that appear on top of a full-screen map. 2) Google Fiber's Kansas City deployment is being extended to the city of Grandview, MO (pop. 25K). 3) Google has updated its iOS Gmail apps to open links with other Google apps (Chrome, YouTube, Maps), and has also rolled out an API that lets iOS developers integrate Chrome with their apps. The moves could help Google lower its Mobile Safari search ad revenue-sharing payments a bit. Read comments
