Dear Affiliate Partner, In our efforts to better the Flipkart Affiliate Program we are streamlining some processes and making some changes to the Program, which will help us work better together. This email is to update you on these new processes and changes.
Account Details To be able to make payments on time, we require you to provide us with additional details under the
‘My Account’ Section. Once you log into this section, you will find a list of questions and new field items. Please have this filled by August 15, 2013. This is mandatory, so please treat this as important. Also, note that the pending / future payments will only be released after we receive these details. Steps to fill/complete ‘My Account’ details: - Login to your Affiliate Account (in case you have forgotten your password, please click on
‘Forgot Your Password?’ link and follow necessary steps) - Click on ‘My Account’ link on left-hand panel (questions marked with * are mandatory)
- Click on ‘Save Changes’ tab after updating all your details
Changes in Payment Cycle With effect from July 2013, we will update your Earnings Report (for all approved orders), by the last day of the month (instead of 27th of every month) for the payouts of the previous month. The payment will then be processed within 15 days post updation of the Earnings Report. Example, for all the approved orders of July 2013, we will update the Earnings Report on August 31, 2013 and you can expect the payments (EFT / Gift Voucher) by/before September 15, 2013 (subject to fulfilling the payment threshold criteria). Rationale For 30 Day Payment Cycle: As you may already know, Flipkart.com has a 30 day cancellation / return policy. We make payments to Affiliates only for products which are not returned by customers in these 30 days. Few of the products which were ordered through your affiliate links/banners/widgets in the last 30 days can still be cancelled / returned by the customer. Hence, we wait for 30 days before processing payments for all the approved orders of the previous month.
