EBAY,AMZN: eBay (EBAY +1.4%) is eliminating listing fees...

1:01 PM eBay (EBAY +1.4%) is eliminating listing fees for most items and overhauling its commission fees, as it tries to sustain Marketplaces' resurgence and slow down Amazon's (AMZN -1.2%) rapid 3rd-party sales growth. Lower-margin items such as electronics will sport lower fee rates than higher-margin items such as clothing. eBay claims the moves, its first fee changes since 2010, will provide more transparency for merchants, who have complained of overly complicated pricing.
