AMZN: The CIA has agreed to a 10-year deal with...

4:03 PM The CIA has agreed to a 10-year deal with Amazon Web Services (AMZN) that's worth up to $600M, trade publication FCW reports. AWS will reportedly help build a private cloud for the CIA to help it "keep up with emerging technologies like big data in a cost-effective manner." While not as big a validation of AWS as having the CIA use Amazon's public cloud (that could be a while), such a deal would still be a major talking point as AWS tries to expand its enterprise/government base.
