It wasn't quite two years ago when folks were predicting Google+ would crash and burn. This week, Facebook unveiled some major changes to its news feed, which many say emulate the format of Google+ (actually, "stolen" and "ripped off" were some of the descriptions I read elsewhere). Avoiding the comparisons, Deb Donston-Miller says the changes aren't only significant, but vast improvements. What do you think? Did Facebook pilfer Google+'s design? Is Facebook losing its position as the front-runner of social networks, or will these changes give it a new edge? Let me know at tom.lasusa@ubm.com!

Also, did you know that the next Interop conference and expo is coming this May to Las Vegas? Now, budgets being the way they are, hopping a flight to the "City of Sin" for a couple of days at a trade show may not be the easiest decision to make. However, UBM Tech Media Chief Content Officer David Berlind says, "Judging by the agenda, the speakers, the size of the exhibition space and the trending enterprise topics for this year's event, it will be a show not to miss."

Plus, we've got some sweet deals for our readers who register in advance. So, really the question you should be asking is "Why haven't I registered yet?"

You should also be asking yourself who Benedict Cumberbatch is playing in the next Star Trek film (seriously, is he Khan or not?) ... but I digress.
