Let me get this straight: RIM is no longer RIM, RIM is BlackBerry. And the BlackBerry 10 isn't the BlackBerry 10, it's actually two devices: the Z10 and Q10. Well okay, BB10 is the OS but still: anyone else feel like you're in an Abbott and Costello sketch?

Reactions to the company formerly known as RIM's name and game change have been pretty strong among both supporters and naysayers.

Reader David Lundquist crowed: "Blackberry is back, try to get to the acceptance stage quickly."

Reader 'PHXflyer' didn't seem quite as optimistic: "I'm not sure BB10 and its associated hardware will make a huge impact with consumers. But IT departments will have plenty of reasons to implement BB10 into their corporate environments."

It doesn't sound as if 'mickrussom' will be lining up to buy either of the new devices: "Nobody cares. Not even MSFT+Blackberry could become relevant let alone BB by itself. Snore."

Alternatively reader 'ClockN' thinks "These new phones could gain traction as a company provided device because of the range of carries, ease of management and lowered support costs.

What do you think? Is this BlackBerry's fourth quarter comeback? Or is it game, set and match,? Share your thoughts with me at tom.lasusa@ubm.com
