8:41 AM Amazon (AMZN) will take a decidedly different approach than Netflix to it original content series. The company plans to stream pilots submitted from independent sources and then solicit feedback from users before backing a series for development. The focus will also be in the comedy genre, instead of a drama show such as Netflix's well-received House of Cards. Look for Amazon to post the first pilots sometime in the next few months.
