AMZN: Netflix (NFLX -1%) goes negative as Bloomberg...

1:00 PM Netflix (NFLX -1%) goes negative as Bloomberg reports Amazon (AMZN) is working on a Kindle set-top. As one would expect, the set-top will reportedly support Prime Instant Video, as well as Amazon's Video on Demand store. Amazon undoubtedly wants the device to increase the living room reach of its video services - Netflix has a (diminishing) edge in this realm - and perhaps also act as a sales vehicle for other products/services. But doing so could be tough in the face of direct competition from Roku, Apple, Boxee, and soon Intel (I, II), and indirect competition from console makers. Read comments
