Times Square bomber Faisal Shahzad gets life sentence

This is what is called a fast paced judiciary system.Faisal get a life sentence for a failed bomb attack in Times Square. Times Square...huh What is Times Square?, a million Indians would say that and when you explain them what is Times Square and that Mr Faisal was planning a bomb attack there and got a life sentence. A lot of Indian would feel concerned about the Judiciary system of India where the main culprit behind the attack on the most important place of a country, its parliament, is still waiting for a final verdict.

And this is what the basic difference in the judiciary system of India and US.

One one hand a person gets such a quick life sentence for a failed attack in an important place of US. On the other hand Mr Afjal guru case is still waiting for a final verdict even though he attacked the most important place of a country the parliament that too years back. Kasab who attacked and killed hundreds of people in Mumbai attack still waiting for a final verdict in Indian court.

Indian Judiciary system has a long way to go.

Jai Hind!!!

What is Ayodhya Verdict?

The long old land of contention and a case lying in Supreme Court of India has again caught the attention of everyone. Some people will relate it to the event that happened on 6th Dec,1992 when a structure was demolished in Ayodhya and some would further take in lanes of History when Ghajani had invaded India. In whatever way you argue, in the table of court the Ayodhya case is a list of issues and court is going to give a verdict keeping these list of issues in mind. The list of issues in front of court are:

1. Was the demolished structure a mosque as claimed by Muslim organizations?

2. If "Yes" then who constructed it? Mughal Emperor Babar or his Governor of Ayodhya.

3. Was a temple demolished before constructing the mosque by Babar.

4. Were Muslims praying in the so called mosque since ages?

5. Did Muslims openly occupied this structure ever since this was constructed in 1528?

6. Did Muslims keep this structure under their control till 1949?

7. Was a case filed very late about this problem?

8. Have Hindus gained the right to this structure by virtue of continuously using the place as place of worship for last 60 years?

9. Is this particular place the Land of Birth for Lord Rama, the famous Hindu God?

10. Have Hindus uses this place as temple for ages?

11. Were the idols and other worship material placed inside the structure on the night of 22/23 Dec 1949 and these things have always been there?

12. Was there a churchyard in the east, north and south side of the structure?

CWG 2010: A Common Wealth Gain for Kalmadi and team

While organizing CWG 2010 has brought a big shame to India, it has proved to be a common wealth gain (CWG) for lot of people with agenda to make money for life time keeping the honor of India at stake.
These organizing committee (barring a few who would be honest) members are no different from Ajmal Kasab. Both don't respect mother India and both have killed/injured people of India. One has inured people with his hand gun and the other has injured people by making faulty concrete structures.

Ayodhya verdicted on 29th September

In a quick development in the afternoon today, Supreme Court deferred the verdict on Ayodhya to a later date 29th September. It is believed that the verdict could be further postponed keeping in mind that CWG 2010 are commencing in Delhi from October 3,2010 and Government would not like to disturb the law and order situation during CWG.

26/11 Lawyer Sahid Azmi shot dead

Lawyer Sahid Azmi who was defending one of the key accused of 21/11 terror attack of Mumbai was shot dead late Thursday evening in his Kurla, Mumbai office, Police reported.

Some unidentified gunmen barged into Azmi's office at 9PM on Thursday and opened fired at him. Azmi sustained 4 bullet injuries and was brought dead to the hospital.

Azmi, 34, represented Fahim Ansari, one of the key accused in the ongoing 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks trial.

Among other things, Azmi's client Fahim - a Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) activist - is charged with preparing the groundwork to help the perpetrators of the terror attacks.

At the tender age of 15, Azmi was arrested for violence during the communal riots that rocked Mumbai between December 1992-January 1993.

In 1992, Azmi was accused of plotting to kill Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray.

Charged under the now-defunct Terrorist and Disruptive Activities Act (TADA), Azmi was awarded a five-year sentence in 1999, but was acquitted the same year by the Supreme Court.

When he was in jail between 1992-1999, he studied for a post-graduate course and after acquittal by the apex court, he studied for a law degree before entering legal practice.

Be a man do the right thing...

I felt so proud to be a Bangalorean today. We have real men here in Karnataka unlike Maharashtra. Mr Pramod Muthalik was blackened and beaten up today for his opposition to Valentine's Days celebration. He has been torturing the young brigade for all these years. Finally today he got to taste his own medicine.

I felt so good about this incident, a tit-for-tat for Mr Muthalik.

Be careful Mr Raj Thackrey. Do not step out of Maharashtra else you might face the same consequences.
