As always, I like sharing the responses, but this time, I've changed the names to protect the "innocent." Most everyone agreed that Anonymous' proposal is flawed. For instance, "Harry P." said: "While it is OK to protest from public property, impeding people who want access to the business is not legal, the same for physically assaulting them." "Ron W." added: "The biggest problem with Anonymous' proposal is that they're taking away other people's rights to freedom of speech...the entities they're attacking aren't offered a chance to voice their views during the time their systems are taken offline." "Albus D." replied "This could interfere with Businesses doing business and would probably happen even more often to a lot more businesses since it would be legal." Finally, "Sirius B" seemed supportive of Anonymous: "I would have to say, Anonymous is my favorite organization. There is no integrity or honesty in most of Governments, so I favor Anonymous as longest they are honestly representing working people's interest." In other news, the John McAfee story is headed to Hollywood. You'll recall the antivirus pioneer, who had been living in Belize, was named a 'person of interest' in a murder of a neighbor. Opting not to chat with the cops, McAfee fled to Guatemala, accused the Belize government of framing him, faked a heart attack and acted a little crazy (though some people question how hard he was acting). Now that he's back in the states what's next for Mr. McAfee? A movie based on his adventures of course! Frankly I think Johnny Depp would be perfect in the lead role. McAfee kind of reminds me of a cross between Jack Sparrow and Hunter S. Thompson. I'm sure Depp would be up to the challenge. Who do you think should star in the John McAfee story? Let me know!
