FB: A month after AppData figures (subsequently...

5:44 PM A month after AppData figures (subsequently disputed) on Instagram's (FB) user account triggered a frenzy, the maker of the world's favorite photo-filter app has released monthly user data for the first time. Instagram says it currently has 90M monthly active users, and that this figure is up 10% from December. It also claims to produce 40M photos/day and 1,000 comments/second. Now all that's left is to start monetizing this activity in a way that doesn't trigger another backlash. Read comments
