6:33 PM More on Apple: 1) Engadget's review of the updated regular iPad finds it delivers more than a 2x performance boost relative to the 3rd-gen model, and a slight improvement in battery life. 2) CNET's lengthy profile of Internet software/services chief Eddy Cue, now in charge of Maps and Siri, depicts a tough negotiator with a knack for improving disappointing products. Cue turned MobileMe into iCloud, but he has also been in charge of iTunes, one of Apple's less beloved software offerings, judging by user ratings. (Read the comments on this)
