Many of you had some interesting thoughts. Glewis believes: "Not only are expectations too high, companies should find other ways of making money other than filling junkyards with perfectly good products. On the other hand, an LED projector in an Iphone could wow me to upgrade, but not much else. Apple is likely to maintain its position as the leading brand in the market while losing marketshare to the myriad of vendors selling Android smartphone devices." Well, this may be overstating a bit, but I do believe that the Smartphone OS landscape will be very different in 4 years -- and that Android OS, by Google (GOOG), will be the loser. My basic thesis is that Windows Phone 8 (WP8) from Microsoft (MSFT) and BlackBerry 10 (BBRY) will take massive market share from Android, and Apple's (AAPL) iOS will maintain or slightly gain market share. 6:21 PM "iRadio is coming. There's no doubt about it," a music industry source tells The Verge's Greg Sandoval. After months of tough negotiations with studios, Apple (AAPL) is said to be aiming for a summer launch. The company's reported plan to limit the service to Apple hardware stands to limit its popularity with customers who listen to music on both Apple and non-Apple gear.  Sandoval adds the music industry has "a love-hate relationship" with Pandora (P), believing (in spite of Pandora's gripes about royalty rates) it "chokes off demand" for more profitable services.
