2:31 PM Continuing its mobile push, Yahoo (YHOO -1.8%) is rolling out Mail apps for the iPad and Android tablets, and a branded Weather app for the iPhone - the pre-installed iPhone Weather app uses Yahoo's data, but is unbranded and features no ads. Yahoo is hoping a photo-centric UI for the weather app, and a strong emphasis on the reading experience for the mail apps, will attract users. The updates come shortly after Yahoo announced major DAU increases for its revamped smartphone mail apps.
