Shares of Microsoft (MSFT) jumped 3.4% on Friday, outperforming the general market as the company came in close to the consensus on revenue and beat estimates on earnings per share. The market has turned bullish for the shares, sending the stock up almost 8% since the beginning of the year as investors argue for a valuation theme and revenue growth from a new product cycle.
