2:10 PM More on Microsoft: VGleaks has posted what it claims are the specs for the next-gen Kinect. The device will reportedly have a wider field-of-view than the current Kinect sensor, feature a 1920x1080 color stream, and lower latency by 1/3. One recent rumor claimed the next Xbox will require the next Kinect to function. JDS Uniphase (JDSU) is a component supplier for the current Kinect, and might also support the next-gen model.
