FB: Ahead of Facebook's (FB +1.5%) 1PM ET mystery...

11:30 AM Ahead of Facebook's (FB +1.5%) 1PM ET mystery event, which might feature some kind of phone announcement,  BI reports the company is working to extend its successful FBX ad exchange to mobile ads, and wants to push more media content onto news feeds. By tracking non-Facebook activity to deliver targeted ads, FBX has already delivered ROI and ad pricing improvements. Meanwhile, The Verge's Ellis Hamburger suggests Facebook has "lost its cool," and needs a new hit product to excite users. (previous) Read comments
