11:13 AM Samsung (SSNLF.PK) has no intention of negotiating a patent settlement with Apple (AAPL) following the HTC deal, says CEO Shin Jong-Kyun. Jong-Kyun suggests HTC agreed to pay 300B won ($276M) as part of the settlement, but it isn't clear if he's talking about an up-front fee or future royalties - Sterne Agee claimed Apple will get a royalty of $6-$8/phone from HTC.
